The mission of The Sophie House is to provide Encouragement, Supportive Services, and Housing for single women and single women with children, that will move them from instability to stability.
Our clients face challenges like poverty, unemployment or under-employment, personal loss, divorce, complex health issues, and many others. No circumstance is too simple or too complex. Through case management, we are able to provide services such as housing referrals, counseling, education programs, and financial planning and budgeting. In addition, our community center houses a food pantry, a technology center, and meeting space for counseling, seminars, tutoring, enrichment programs, and Bible studies.
