Earth Day Celebration & Day of Service

Come get your hands dirty at Enrichmond’s 26th Earth Day Celebration! we want to engage our Richmond neighbors in our biggest community Day of Service yet! Volunteers will be working in each of Richmond’s nine city districts to make our city a greener and cleaner place to live. Join friends and neighbors of various locations below to help clear invasive species, plant native trees, beautify public spaces, and so much more! Volunteers will work from 9am-12pm and should come prepared to work outside for the duration of the workday. Be sure to wear clothes that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes are a must, and sunscreen and a hat will keep you safe in sunny weather. Bring gloves, water, and a snack to fuel your hard work. This work will be primarily physical, and lifting will be involved. If you are unable to standor long periods of time, please let us know in advance so that we can arrange for extra seating.
