42nd St. Spruce-Up
Join The Friends of the James River Park and The James River Outdoor Coalition(JROC) as they partner up for this months volunteer opportunity! Instead of painting the town this holiday season, how about coming out to paint the 42nd Street parking lot? We will be there on December 13th, bucket and brushes in hand ready to spruce things up. Volunteers should wear warm, comfortable clothing you do not mind getting paint on. Please bring a reusable water bottle and a snack.
In the event of rain the volunteer project will be cancelled. Please use your best judgement.
The Friends of the James River Park is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization created by a dedicated group of citizens in 1999. Our mission is to provide an ongoing source of citizen support for the conservation, enhancement, and enjoyment of the 550-acre James River Park System and its natural and historic environments.
This opportunity is a referral and is managed by Friends of the James River Parkdirectly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating.
All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality.
