Cornerstone Farm Community Planting Day
Our mission: Transforming community health, wealth, and vitality by re-imagining our relationships to food and farming.
It's time to plant our first round of summer veggies, flowers, and herbs. Join us and learn how we plant and cultivate thousands of pounds of fresh produce and flowers, using all natural methods. Volunteers will help prepare soil and plant & water dozens of different varieties of tomatoes, squash, peppers, greens, cabbage, and much more. No experience necessary, just a willing hand and happy smile! Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle and any necessary sunscreen. This project is youth and family friendly but please no large groups of youth without adults. Join us after for a celebration of Earth Day and National Volunteer Week with a community potluck picnic with games and live music. Free and family friendly, but please RSVP for the picnic.
