Heart of Virginia Bike Festival
The Richmond Area Bicycle Association (RABA) is proud to present the annual Heart of Virginia Bike Festival Ride on Saturday, September 15, 2018. The event will take place in Hanover. Many volunteers will be needed to make this a fun and safe event for cyclists. This volunteer opportunity involves "manning" rest stops for the bikers - we will be distributing snacks and drinks to cyclists at four different rest stops. Several shifts will be available approximately between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Come out for either a 2-3 hour shift or help all day!
Funds from the event go to RABA and the Brain Injury Association of Virginia (BIAV), the only statewide non-profit organization in Virginia exclusively devoted to serving individuals with brain injury, their families, and those that care for and about them.
Volunteers will be provided with refreshments.
This opportunity is a referral and is managed by BIAV directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating.
All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality.
