Covington Tree Planting
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is dedicated to leading, supporting, and inspiring local action to restore and protect the lands, rivers and streams of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay is working with Reedy Creek Coalition and the Richmond Parks Department to plant over 40 trees along Reedy Creek.
Volunteers will plant trees, dig small holes, mulch, and remove invasives. No experience is required.
Volunteers should wear clothes appropriate for working outdoors. All tools and gardening gloves will be provided. Volunteers should bring a waterbottle.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
