Be An Ambassador for the Museum!
Position Title: Special Events Volunteer
Special Events volunteers help the Valentine to staff events! At these events, volunteers will get the opportunity to engage with the public and learn more about Richmond's history museum. We need assistance with our membership table, counting attendees, picking up trash, greeting guests, monitoring the galleries, and clean up. We have five different events coming up in May and June, lots of great opportunities to help out!
Physical Demands:
This position requires extended periods of time outside, up to five hours. This position requires some walking and bending.
Training Requirements:
Knowledge of the Valentine’s mission and our membership benefits is a requirement for staffing events. Special Events Volunteers must visit the galleries and familiarize themselves with this information prior to staffing an event.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 11+, Minimum Age:16+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
