Super Hero 1/2K Cheerleaders and Lap Buddies
The Virginia Home is a nonprofit, long term nursing facility that provides compassionate and professional residential care to adult Virginians with irreversible physical disabilities, ensuring that their lifelong comfort and security will never be compromised regardless of ability to pay.
Our Super Hero 1/2K is part of our resident's annual fundraiser. They have friends and family sponsor them as they complete a 1/2K. Volunteers provide support by cheering and encouraging the residents! Volunteers will also be buddied up to help assist residents in completing the 1/2K or 6 laps around The Virginia Home's gymnasium.
A quick orientation will be given before the event.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 8+, Minimum Age:16+
