Join SOAR365 for Family-Friendly Service on MLK Day!
SOAR365 is a non-profit organization that creates life-fulfilling opportunities for people with disabilities. We do this by providing four sets of core services: Business Solutions; Adult Day Services/Children & Youth Day Services; Pediatric Therapy; and Residential Services (Respite and Summer Camps). Our wide range of programs is designed to serve individuals no matter what stage of the life cycle they are in, and to support families who are coping with the daily “real world” challenges of living with a disability. We have a profound impact on the 1,300 individuals and families we serve each year.
Community service was one of the enduring legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King’s leadership and on MLK Day of Service 2020, volunteers throughout the nation will respond to the call by rolling up their sleeves and doing good in their communities. On Monday January 20, 2020 from 10-1, SOAR365 invites volunteers of all abilities to join our family-friendly service activity. Volunteers will be helping to sort & inventory donations of program supplies, prepare mailings, make decorations for our upcoming Valentine's Ball, and assist with other needs identified by staff. This is a family-friendly activity open to kids ages 12 and up (with parental supervision).
