Virtual! Assemble and Donate Emergency Hygiene Bags
This is a virtual volunteer opportunity and contact free to ensure we all stay safe and that clients still receive much needed support. Grocery/Household shopping can be hard and expensive, especially when you are living on a small budget. By assembling Emergency Hygiene kits you are supporting a family or individual with the necessary hygiene items.
Emergency Hygiene kits support families by providing them with much needed hygiene items in a gallon or quart sized ziploc bag. Emergency Hygiene kits are distributed to the community through our food pantry and during mobile pantry events to sheltered and unsheltered individuals and families.
This is a great way to complete any mandated volunteer hours for court, school, or leisure!
Instructions
#1 Purchase or collect needed items for the kits. All items must be new, unused, and unopened.
#2 Once you have all the needed items, assemble the kits.
#3 After assembling your kits with all the needed items, bring them to our office and leave them in the drop off bins in the lobby by Suite A.
#4 Submit the volunteer verification form so that we both have a record of your donation. Attach a picture of yourself with your donations for a shoutout through our volunteer newsletter!
