SOAR365 Spring Family Work Day
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
Each spring, volunteers of all ages and abilities join SOAR365’s Spring Spruce-Up Campaign to help beautify our four facilities. This year, SOAR365 invites parents & kids ages 12 and older to participate with a day of family-friendly service. Tasks will include weeding and cleaning flower beds, spreading mulch, trimming bushes, staining ramps, painting railings, painting parking lot lines, and helping to get our facilities ready for the warmer weather.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This activity will take place outside in the fresh air.
- The event will be limited to fifteen volunteers (including adults and kids)
- All safety guidelines (including face masks, gloves, and social distancing) will be strictly enforced to keep participating volunteers safe.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:18+
