Help with Registration at Henrico Vaccine Event
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration with Henrico County COVID-19 vaccination efforts at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
Volunteers will greet patients as they arrive, verify their personal information, and confirm their vaccination appointment. Volunteers will then ensure registration paperwork is filled out correctly and direct them to the vaccination clinic's staff to proceed to the vaccination area. Before the start of the shift, volunteers will receive a "just in time" training by an IT specialist. The IT point person will be available throughout the day to answer questions.
Volunteers will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to starting this role.
Volunteers will report through Gate 7. Traffic attendants will direct you through the tunnel into the track infield. Once through the tunnel, let the attendant know that you are working the event and they will direct you to the staff parking area (inside the infield between turns 1 and 2). From there you will enter the nearest building and check in with our folks there.
Volunteers will NOT receive a vaccine.
