Help with Registration at Henrico Vaccine Event
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
Volunteers are needed to assist with registration with Henrico County COVID-19 vaccination efforts at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
Volunteers will greet patients as they arrive, verify their personal information, and confirm their vaccination appointment. Volunteers will then ensure registration paperwork is filled out correctly and direct them to the vaccination clinic's staff to proceed to the vaccination area. Before the start of the shift, volunteers will receive a "just in time" training by an IT specialist. The IT point person will be available throughout the day to answer questions.
Volunteers will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to starting this role.
Volunteers should enter the Richmond International Raceway through Gate 4, 900 E. Laburnum Ave. Proceed to staff parking at the Old Dominion Building where you will be volunteering.
Volunteers will NOT receive a vaccine.
