Plant Trees with Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation!

When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.

If you love trees and would like to help plant a few "teenagers" (bigger than baby trees, having a 1.5 inch caliper and over 8 feet tall), please join the Earth Week fun!  On Wednesday, April 21st, PRCF will be digging three large tree holes, amending soils, and planting three native tree species at Pleasant Park in Oregon Hill.  This is a two-hour project, and will include digging, amending soil, and some invasive removal in the park!

The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
