Event Volunteer- Mutts @Maymont
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
Lend a hand with Mutts @Maymont, as we open a section of the grounds to dog owners! Humans and their four-legged friends are invited to stroll along the designated Pup Path with views of the historic architecture and gardens. Guests will enjoy live music, adult beverages, food trucks including Espresso A Go Go, Goatocado and Ray’s Big Dogs, and pet portraits by Brittany Rose Photography during this special occasion.
Volunteer tasks include: set-up/clean-up, ticket tent, entrance, bar (21+), and path monitor. Please note – this is a ticketed public event to support the continued care for the Maymont historic estate, gardens, and exhibits. Volunteers must follow CDC guidelines for the safety of guests, staff and volunteers, including social distancing and mask use where needed.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 11+, Minimum Age:15+
