Native Tree Care and Maintenance

Organization
Richmond Community ToolBank works with other nonprofits across the city to help them complete their missions without undue financial burdens by providing tools, resources, and expertise.
Richmond Community ToolBank is looking for volunteers to help clean up the Northside Tree Nursery and prepare the trees being kept there for a large planting and tree giveaway project in the fall.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will help care for trees located in the Northside Tree Nursery by:
- Preformiming general grounds maintenance
- Tree care including watering and feeding
- Tree inventory & organization
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
This volunteer activity will require bending and lifting
Time Commitment:
Thursday, September 1st 2022 10am to 12pm

- All tools will be provided by the Richmond Community ToolBank but please feel free to bring any pruners, gardening gloves, or tools that you feel may be helpful to completeing this activitiy.
- Please wear comfortable clothing you dont mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes
- Volunteer opportunity is located near Richmond City Government offices at 810 Forrest Lawn Rd, Richmond, VA 23227, and is circled in red
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
