Arbor Day RVA Tree Planting at Forest Hill Park
Richmond Community ToolBank works with other nonprofits across the city to help them complete their missions without undue financial burdens by providing tools, resources, and expertise.
LESS TURF, MORE TREES!
We're reforesting 1.5 acres of unecessary lawn at Forest Hill Park that will help support clean air, water, and wildlife.
Volunteers will help plant, mulch and water 200 new trees along the park's loop trail. We've got the tools, trees, and time, all we're missing is you!
ToolBank will provide all tools and materials needed. We’ll have water and refreshments on hand. All you need to do is:
- Bring a refillable water bottle
- Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a hair-tie if that feels necessary for you.
- Wear close-toed shoes
- Be ready to do a great thing
Age Minimum (with Adult): 10+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
