Spring Cleaning with The Doorways
Spring is just around the corner! Help The Doorways get ready to greet the nice weather by cleaning up around the building. Activities will take place outside and will be socially distanced. Volunteers will be required to wear masks (provided) at all times. Volunteers of any age are welcome. We do accept community service requests for this activity.
Join The Doorways April 6th – 8th for outdoor, socially distanced volunteering! Volunteers will help us by cleaning out our Garden area tasks include; sweeping, pressure washing, and washing windows. In addition, volunteers will help by cleaning balconies tasks include; sweeping, washing windows, and wiping down railings.
All cleaning supplies will be provided by The Doorways along with gloves and water. You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer. Weather appropraite attire including close toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty should be worn for this activity. This work requires you to be outside at various levels of our building on secure balconies up to 8 stories. If this is a concern for you please indicate them when you sign up.
