Pony Pasture Invasive Management

 


 

 

When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of following CDC guidance.

Activities to be determined, but we likely will be focusing on removal of English ivy and wintercreeper groundcover as well as Amur honeysuckle, privet, and other invasive shrubs in areas where native species planting will occur later in the month.

 

Please wear boots or closed toe shoes, long sleeves, and long pants (poison ivy may be present).

Bring a water bottle.

 

Tools and work gloves provided.

 

Meet near the parking lot: exact location TBD, but look for project leader with tools  and red wagon near either the kiosk  (by the river access), the restroom facility, or the picnic tables at the east end of the parking lot.
