Building Change: Outdoor Classroom Furniture for Public Schools

We're on a mission to build outdoor classroom furniture for every school in the Richmond region! Join us!
Building Change is a one-of-a-kind community give-back experience that empowers volunteers of any age to build outdoor furniture that will make lasting change in their community.
This fall we’re on a mission to build outdoor classroom furniture for every Title One school in the Richmond region.
Thanks to a generous grant from Community Foundation for Greater Richmond, we’re able to build outdoor classroom tables for the first 15 schools. With your help, we’ll build an additional 600 tables for another 60 Title One schools in and around Richmond!
Every outdoor furniture item you help us build will be donated to local public schools with the goal of providing outdoor classrooms to every school that needs one!

No experience is necessary, we provide everything you need in our clean, spacious climate-controlled warehouse!
ToolBank provides the tools, materials & designs; volunteers contribute their energy, passion and time. Together, we’re Building Change!
All projects will take place at the Richmond Community ToolBank's warehouse (1407 Cummings Dr. Richmond, VA 2322).
