Brief Organizational Description: 

The Children's Museum of Richmond, a not-for-profit organization, exists to create innovative learning experiences for all children and those who support them that inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers. The Children's Museum of Richmond will foster a community that recognizes and appreciates that children grow and learn through play.

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Come volunteer in the Fawn Shop! Volunteers will supervise children as they shop for gifts for their family members. Each child will enter will a set amount of "fawn bucks" with which they can purchase items in the Fawn Shop. Volunteers will help them pick gifts out. This is part of our Legendary Santa program for the holiday season!

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will supervise children in the Fawn Shop while they shop. They will also help kids shop, collect Fawn Bucks, and bag gifts.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No skills required; however, volunteers MUST attend an orientation prior to volunteering. Please email ameagher@cmorva.org for more information.

Time Commitment:
Shifts are generally 3-5 hours long.

Other Information:

*The Children's Museum of Richmond does not currently accept volunteers who need court-ordered community service hours.

**New prospective volunteers must complete an application, orientation, and background check (18+) before they are able to work at the museum!
